Easelcard With Bestie-image

Good Saturday Morning all crafters!
I´ve gone wild in colours :)
Mostly I colour images almost monocromatic-style, so I´m not quite sure what happened with this one, other than having fun…
Luckily I had "fun-coloured" papers in a box too, so putting together this girly-card wasn´t too hard - actually, it was more fun ;)
The image, My Besties Img 824 from Sherri Baldy, is coloured with ProMarkers.
Unfortunately I didn´t list which colours I used…
I can´t remember where the papers are from either, but I think they fitted the image quite well
- and they´re a little bit sparkly, that suits me very well (LOL).
I decorated with laces and feathers, a heartcharm, a flower and some leaves. Underneath the image-panel I tucked a little pink and white tulle.
On the tags (Magnolia DooHickeys) I tied little pieces of lace.
The paperedges are inked with DistressInke Walnut Stain.
The punch Used on top and on the green panel behind the image is Martha Stewarts Floral Wine deep edge punch.

It´s an easel-card, with the writingpanel inside:

I´ll enter these challenges with my "fun-coloured" card:

Stampin´for the Weekend - Colours of Summer
Sister Act #22 - Anything Goes
Divas By Design - Lovely Lace
Party Time Tuesdays #135 - Anything Goes
Paper Craftin Journey - Anything Goes

Numbers for I Love ProMarkers

 Good morning to you
- though it´s a bit sad for me;
this is my last week and my last card as a GDT at
The last four weeks I´ve practiced a lot with my Markers, and I´ve studied lots of colouringtechniques and how other cardmakers does their colouring, -and I´ve learnt a lot!
And I´m sure: I Love ProMarkers!
It´s been so exciting showing my cards at I Love ProMarkers!

This week we are sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps, I haven´t tried their digi´s before, but had a fun time colouring this lady (though I had some difficulties with her hair - I wanted it to be greyISH, without being grey… this is the best attempt)
-I think she´s great for the challengetheme
"Must Include A Number"
My card is built up in several layers, all attached with 3D-foamtape - a fun effect, I think…
So far only the numbers and stars are glittered (maybe I should put on a little on the balloons? And on the flowers..?)
Around the image I used a little Shabby Blue Embossing Enamel.  I simply LOVE that stuff! I want ALL colours!

Inside I used the same cardstock and paper; simple, but effective touch on the card (I like the cards to close properly…)

Pro- and FlexMarkers used to colour the image:
Skin: Tan, Ivory, Dusky Pink
Hair: Warm Grey 1 & 3, Primrose
Shirt/ Skirt: Indigo Blue, Blue Pearl, Pebble Blue (F), Warm Grey 3

DPs Teresa Collins, My Minds Eye
Textstamps: Kort & Godt, Norsk Stempelblad

It´s coloured with Pro- and FlexMarkers (colourlist further down)
I had a really good time playing with all this pink papers and stash - I dont think I have any favourite colour (I like all colours!), but very often pink is a colour I choose to use when I make things…
I followed the sketch from CLP Challenge Blog making this card. Great fun!
Between two of the layers I put tags with stamped greetings on. I tied pink ribbon to one of the tags and pink/ white twine to the other.
The inside is kept clean and simple, with a sentiment stamped on the left side.
On the back I used the same paper as the backingpaper on the front.
And of course the paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain :)

Inspired By A Song at Ooh La La

Hello again
I´m back to share the card I made for the
Inspired by a song-challenge
over at
Ooh La La Creations Challenges

The song I let me inspire by was
Come To The Manger
It is such a lovely, peaceful christmassong, and so beautiful sung by Donny Osmond.

The lovely papers and image are all from Yesterdy´s Memories CD, from the file called "The Manger".
I made a matching envelope for the card.
The image is built up in 3 layers, then I put on a little goldcoloured Glitterstickles on the halos - a halo has to sparkle!
The angel on the envelope has got just a little goldcolour on.

Inside of the card:

Materials:
CD "Yesterdays Memories "The Manger"
Stamps: Papirdesign, Norsk Stempelblad
Punches: Martha Stewart Heartchain PATP-set, *
DistressInk WalnutStain, VersaColor Gold
Chunky White Embossing Enamel
Ribbon
Homemade Pins
Glitterstickles Gold

*I can´t remember what the punch I used on the front is called, if you know, I´d be really happy if you left me a comment about it

Now, if you visit OLL, you´ll find much more inspiration
- it´s amazing things the DT-girls have made for this challenge!

Wedding at My Besties

Good morning all crafters!
Today we start a
Weddingchallenge
at
My Besties.
I have used the beautiful Hearts a flutter-image for my card.
Aren´t these two just a supercute couple!

It´s an easelcard:
And I´ve tried something new here.
I tried DAS modelling material, rolled it out really thin and stamped a greeting in it.
Then I cut around the greeting and left it to dry
- SCARY; would it stay flat, or would it curl up to completely useless…
It went well, and I made another claydecoration. This one a heartshaped stamp with "text" (Inkido) that I cut out with a heartshaped gingerbreadcutter.
It´s so cute! It´s underneath the ribbon, you can see it if you look closely, now that you know it is there (lol).

Pro- and FlexMarkers used to colour the image:
Skin: Ivory, Dusky Pink, Tan, Blush
Hair: Walnut, Terracotta/ Gold, Saffron, Primrose
Clothes: His: Warm Grey 1, 3, 5. Hers: Linen (F), Blossom, Pale Blossom (F)
Eyes: His: Arctic Blue, Pastel Blue. Hers: Marsh Green, Pear Green, Meadow Green
Flowers: Pink Pearl, Buttercup
Blender

Materials:
Bazzill Cardstock
Corrugated paper
DPs ?
Stamps: Inkido, Papirdesign

Dot to Dot on a Summer-like Card

Happy Saturday!
I love weekends, with plenty of time doing what I like most;
coloring and card making :)
I´ve even planned a little bit of tidying and sorting my stash…

Well, first I´ll show a card I just made.
The image is the lovely Dot to Dot, another My Besties from Sherri Baldy.
You can find lots of her images here, if you like them.
I think I tried out most all the new dies I bought this summer on the card.
(I still have some dies left on my ever-growing-longer wish list…)
The butterflies and the flower are the only things glittered on this card.
…well, the shabby white embossing enamel has gold glitter, but not so much, and it adds such a lovely touch together with the chunky white embossing enamel. I´ve used those two around the image - super cute!

Here´s the inside, with a stamped birthday greeting:

Front and back of the card:

Pro- and FlexMarkers used to color the image:
Skin: Tan, Dusky Pink, Ivory, Blush
Clothes and Wings: Blossom, Pale Blossom (F), Honeydew

My SummerPrice from Maya at Sketchy Colors

A while ago I was One of the winners at Sketchy Colors Summerchallenge,
and yesterday all this lovely stuff arrived in my mailbox.
Maya had chosen me as the winner of her prize, and here it is!
Isn´t it gorgeous???
Mayas Blog is one of the blogs I´ve followed for the longest time, and she always has inspiring blogposts. She is so talented, and has several colouringtutorials on her blog. (I still practise colouring foldings…)
And isn´t the card absolutely adorable! I´m gonna make one like this! At least I´ll try…
Oh, and see all the beautiful charms - will I ever dare to use them??? Hedda has already found several that she won´t let me use, amonst them an owl that she needs for a necklace. Hmm - We´ll see about that!
Here´s 4 cans of chunky embossing enamel in different colours, oh I look forward to try them!
In fact, I don´t think I can wait much longer to try out these things, so I´ll stop here
I just have to say a huge
THANK YOU
to
Maya

GDT I Love ProMarkers Summer Time

If you didn´t read my post last Wednesday;
I´m a
GuestDesigner
at
I Love ProMarkers
this month!
Isn´t that G R E A T ???
It IS to me!!!
And of course I hope to inspire many, many of you ProMarkers-colourers to join the
Summer Time Challenge

I think strawberries just shout out summer. Isn´t Strawberry Girl from Mo Manning a perfect summerimage?
I while ago I got the strawberry dies (Magnolia DooHickey), and I´ve gone a bit wild making these berries - aren´t they cuuute! I love them!
The pink Inkido DP (Forever Summer) had such a lovely flowerprint in the bottom corner, I didn´t want to hide it underneath other papers, so I went ahead with my sharpest, most thinbladed knife and cut around the flowers so I could tuck the other papers underneath in the corner. It took quite some time, but I think it was worth every minute.
I punched the corners of the imagepanel with a Martha Stewart punch. On that panel I also used a little chunky embossing enamel (white and copper).

Pro- and FlexMarkers used to colour the image:
Skin: Tan, Dusky Pink, Ivory, Blush, Sunkissed Pink
Hair: Gold, Mustard, Buttercup, Primrose
Dress_ Antique Pink, Pink Pearl (F), Blender
Strawberries: Burgundy, Berry Red
FlipFlops: Antique White (F), Almond
Flowers: Primrose, Pink Pearl (F)
Leaves, Grass and other green details: Marsh Green, Pear Green, Meadow Green
Shadow: Glacier Blue (F), Blender

I´ll join these challenges with my Summer Time Card:

Christmas Gift Tags

Good morning all of you :)
Aren´t these gifttags just cute?
They´re made as little shakerboxes with Besties-images inside.
You can find Sherri Baldis adorable Besties here.
Yes, the images are printed very small, so colouring them was quite fiddly - I couldn´t have done it without the fine nibs on the ProMarkerpens. Those nibs are amazing!
I used the Bazzill Bling cardstock for the shakerboxfronts and the snowflakes. It sparkles so nice :)

Here´s the back of the first one:

Here´s the second tag.
I used the same materials and embellishments, but a different image, -and of course some different placings of embellishments and texts:

…and the back of it:

Here´s a picture showing both gifttags
I really look forward to putting these two on the gifts :)

I´ll enter these challenges:

GDT at I LOVE ProMarkers

Great news from me today!
I have been asked to be a Guest-DT over at I LOVE ProMarkers for August!
Of course I said "yes" -or maybe what I said something more like "YES!"
I Love ProMarkers may be one if the challenges I most often join, and now I have got the chance to join all their talented DT-girls for an entire month - It`s so EXCITING!
The first challenge I`ve made a card for is the "Use a Doily"-Challenge. I hope you see my doilies :)
I layered 3 doilies onto each other before I "squeezed" the middle of them a little together, then I positioned it in the corner. The image, Sherri Baldys Img 815 (of course coloured with ProMarkers, you`ll find a list of which colours I`ve used further down), is mounted inside a "shakerbox". Actually the whole front of the card is a shakerbox. I made the window using Spellbinders Petite Scalloped circles Large. Around it I used lots of flowers, leaves and butterflies - yes, they are glittered, both the flowers and the butterflies ;)
Here you can see the "shakereffect" better:

This picture show te front- and backside of the card. You can see I`ve used the same DP on both:

Here\s the inside of the card:
I used the same Spellbinders-dies for the textpanels, as I used for the window on the front.

Colours I used for the image:
Skin: Ivory, Dusky Pink, Blush, Tan
Pear Green, Meadow green, Pastel Green, Buttercup, Pink Pearl (F), Blossom, Pale Blossom (F)

Other materials:
Cardstock: Bazzill
DP: Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics 5th of May
Dies: Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Circles Large, Joy! Crafts DL102 (Butterflies)
Textstamp: Staz
Flowers, Leaves, Pearlstrings, Microbeads
Glitterstickles Diamond
DistressInk Walnut

Wings challenge at Fashionista

Finally
My third post today
And finally we´re into the third week of the Wings-challenge over at

Fashionista Challenge

That means I can post my Wings-card
and welcome you to join us

Our sponsor for this challenge is
Sherri Baldy "Besties"

so again I got the chance to create with one of these lovely images
(Actually, as I were coloring this one, I thought of switching to an image with only one figure. It took me hourS to finish this one(!) But when the coloring was done, and I could start the glittering it was worth the time - I  L O V E to put on glitterdetails! So all wings on the card are glittered, both the butterflies and the fairies :)
(sitting here writing, I started wondering; could an entire image be colored with glitterstickles? Hmmm - think I´ll save that idea for a rainy day…)
I´m so sorry I haven´t got the list of ProMarker-colours used on this image. I completely forgot to list them as I coloured, and it´s just too difficult trying to remember when they´re all packed...
Well - enough writing, here´s my card...:

…an easel card…:

…and this shows the inside:

As this is the third week of the challenge, you may have joined us earlier, but remember you can enter this challenge three times (one for each week), so there´s still time to make another card with Wings…
And if you haven´t visited Fashionista Challenge earlier, be sure to do it now.
Come on, join us
:)

Step Back in Time

Hello again.
I´m back to invite you to join
Ooh La La Creations
Back In Time Challenge
I simply love these old fashionimages. This One is from the Yesterdays Memories CD. As are the matching papers. Together with them I used white and turquoise card stock from Bazzill.
All stamps (text and sewingequipments) are from a free gift set that came with the magazine Cardmaking & Papercraft some time ago. On the bobbins I put on a little satinribbon. To one of them I attached a safetypin. On the panel inside the card I glued down to buttons and a real(!) needle with a little thread - I think it´s quite cute :)
All edges are inks with DistressInk WalnutStain, to give it an older look.

Now, pop over to
Ooh La La
Find out what the other girls have made,
find inspiration and take a step back in time you too
:)

School Challenge at My Besties

Good morning on a wonderful Monday.
It´s time for a new challenge at
This week our theme is
School

I used this little cutie, Img 863, for my Schoolcard.
(I´ve decided to use this image on Heddas schoolstash (papers, tags etc) this year)
I used papers I´ve had for years, I mean many, many years, so I really can´t remember where I got them from…
The little stamps I used around the image and on the tag are from an old Hannah-set called Teach.
The charms, brads and metal embellishments are all school related, and bought over years.
At least I kept track on the colours I used on the image. You´ll find a colourlist further down.

This next picture show both the front and back of the card. On the back I used the same paper as the fronts backingpaper...

Here´s the inside. No, it is not Post-it-notes! It is the very last of an old DP, I think it was from Karen Foster, but I may be completely wrong so please feel free to correct me...

ProMarkers colors used for the image:
Skin: Tan, Dusky Pink, Blush, Ivory
Eyes: Marsh Green, Pear Green
Lips: Sunkissed Pink
Hair: Walnut, Caramel, Sandstone, Buttercup
Clothes: Warm Grey 1, 3, 5, Burgundy, Poppy
Bag: Tan, Sandstone, Satin
And, of course Blender

I´ll join these challenges with my school card:
The Crafters Cafè #22 - Anything Goes
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Card and Scrap #59 - Alt er Lov
ProMarker Norge #21 - Alt er Lov

Inspector Em

Kenny K just came with 3 new steampunk burlesque digis, and the minute I saw this one,
Inspector Em, I knew I had to have it!
Everybody know I love crime, mysteries and detectives (Poirot, Miss Marple, Murdoch Mysteries, Midsomer Murders, Inspector Morse, Inspector Lynley… You name them, I love them all! Of course
I´ll love Inspector Em too!)
I had some problems photographing tonight, so the colours of the image seems much lighter than they actually are. They´re a bit better in the picture below, but still a little pale.
(Full list of colours and supplies further down).
I made the sprocket gears using tapecovered cardstock (scraps) and Spellbinders Shapeabilities Sprightly Sprockets. I embossed a few of them, after diecutting.
I´m not quite familiar with this steampunkstyle yet, but with so many cool images I just will have to keep on practising ;)
The backingpaper on the frontside showed so little, i had to use it on the back as well:

Here´s the inside, I´ll post it even though the quality of this piture is rather poor:

Colouring:
Pro- and FlexMarkers:
Skin: Ivory, Dusky Pink, Tan
Lips: Coral, Sunkissed Pink
Hair: Walnut, Chestnut, Gold
Eyeglass: Blue Grey 1 (F), Soft Aqua (F)

Shadows: Warm Grey
And of course the Blender :)

Other supplies for the card:
Cardstock: Bazzill
DP: 7Gypsies Willow, Glitz Design Scarlett Map
Punch: Martha Stewart Zig Zag Edge Punch
Dies: Spellbinders Shapeabilities Sprightly Sprockets. Petite Scalloped Circles Large
Textstamp (inside): Kort&Godt
DistressInk WalnutStain
Frantage Copper Embossing Enamel
