Gifttags in December

This years last challenge at Hjertebodens Juleblogg was "Pakkelapper" (Gifttags).
It is so fun to have made all their challenges!

My first tag is made in blue and white, with a snow and wintertheme. The image is from Magnolia, and is coloured with DistressInks and -Markers. I used different glittermediums on the details (i.e. stickles on the image, glimmermist on the snowflakes). I also used different dies.
And of course I had to use DistressInk on the edges...
I think the DP used here is from Papirdesign

My first tag will also be entered into these challenges:
MDUC - Christmas
Gingerloft - Christmas or Winter
Catered Crop - Tag You're It!
Crafts and Me - Winter Wonderland Bumper Challenge

My second tag also has a Magnoliaimage coloured with DistressInks and -Markers.
Again I've used lots of dies, and even a punch.
Dp used on this tag is from MajaDesign.
All paperedges are inked here too.

My second christmastag will go for these challenges
Panduro - Jul (Christmas)
Hooked on Crafts - Christmas
Dream Valley - Christmas
Kort o Mania - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes
Crafty Creations - Seasonal Tags

My third tag has an image from Bildmålarna.
It's one of their mini's, coloured with DistressInks and -Markers.
Papers are from MajaDesign on this tag too.

I'll send my third tag for these challenges:
Bildmålarna - Bingo (Charms/ Red/ Flowers)
Card and Scrap - Lav lige hvad du vil (Anything Goes)
Kaboodle Doodles - Christmas/ Holiday's Anything Goes
Creative Belli - Christmas
Divas by Design - Anything Goes

Now I'm off to finish the house for the holiday - then I'll just have a nice and relaxing christmas with my family.

I wish you all a very merry christmas

Inspired by all the lovely pocketcards I see in other blogs I wanted to try to make one too, and this is how it turned out.

OLL-Challenge #120 Reflections

Good morning everyone :)
This should have been posted yesterday, but I seem to be running out of time these days - anyone else???
Well - for Ooh La La's challenge #120 "Reflections" I made a calendar.
As always for these challenges I've used papers and images that you can find in OLLs store.
As this calendar is supposed to hang for a whole year, I wouldn't put on too much embellishments and other decorations (afraid it might get dusty...)
Now it's your turn; come join us on this challenge, click in on OLLCB to check out the lovely creations from the rest and the DT - get inspired and join us :)
How you interpret "Reflections" is completely up to you.

OLL DT Spots and Dots

Monday morning - a beautiful, violetcoloured Monday morning outside
And it's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations
The theme for the coming fortnight is "Spots and Dots" - isn't that an easy one to join??
For my card I've used papers and image from the Joyeux Noel collection. Aren't they pretty?!?
The spots on my card is on the embossed panel behind the image and on the ribbon.
I attached a little charm, saying "God Jul" (Merry christmas) to the bow.
The sentiment on front is from Kreativ Hobby.

Isn't the paper I've used inside just gorgeous - I think it makes it look as if  the greetingpanels kind of floats on top of it:
(The textstamp is from North Star Stamps, and the greetingpanels are diecuts from Kort&Godt)

The backsidepaper has the same image as I used on the frontside

In the OLL shop you'll find all CDs available - in the sidebar you'll also find digital downloads, tutorials, free samples and much more, just go in there and see all the fun stuff.
And don't forget to join challenge #119 Spots and Dots

Kraft, Beige and Gold Christmascard

Good morning everyone :)
Just a quick sunday morning post from me today.
I've looked through my pictures, and found that I have a some cards and things I haven't posted yet.
I'll try to get them posted before all challenges ends...

Is this what's called a pocketcard? It's a "tag" inside a pocket, at least.
I've used Cream and Kraft Cardstock. The DPs are from Pion. I think Pions papers are so lovely and delicate, that I try not to cover them with too much embellishments. On this one I've only used some ribbon, a lace, a charm and a pin - and inked the paperedges with DistressInk WalnutStain.
The textstamps are from Papirdesign and Kort&Godt.
On top of both the tag and the pocket I used Martha Stewarts Doily Lace Edge Punch.

Here's a few more pictures, to show the different sides of the "tag" and "pocket":

Here's the challengeblogs that inspired me to make this card:
Crazy 4 Challenges - Put a Bow on it!
Kort o Mania - Jul
Everybody Art - Angels
Paper Pretties - Clean And Simple (CAS)
Crafty Creations - Christmas is Coming
Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes
Papirdokkene - Jul i November (Christmas in November)
Just Keep On Creating - Christmas Is Around The Corner
Card And Scrap - Lav Noget Med Jul (Make something With Christmas)
Hooked On Crafts - Christmas No Red/ Green!
Crimbo Crackers - Anything Goes

November Christmascards

Hello everyone. Finally I found time to finish the blogpost with my November Christmascards -
I've had them finished for some days now, but haven't found the time to post them to the blog.
The challenge at Hjertebodens Juleblogg this month was simple enough "Hjerteboden". Most of the things used on the cards are bought at Hjerteboden. I'm sure I wasn't the only one using this challenge as an excuse for buying some new stuff from them - lol...
The papers on all three cards are from Maja Designs collections "Julen är Här" and "Vintage Winter".

On my first card I used the image Tilda with little Rudolph, from "A christmas story collection 2012".
On this card I used DistressMarkers and -refills for colouring.
I've used dies from Spellbinders, Marianne Design and Magnolia.
On one of the paperedges I used the Vintage Floral punch from Martha Stewart.
The texts on this card I think were from Kort&Godt.
And of course I inked all paperedges with DistressInk WalnutStain (I really do not like it when the white core of the papers shows at the edges...)

This first card will be entered into the challenges at:
Hjertebodens Juleblogg - "Hjerteboden"
Magnolia Mania - "Tilda with an animal"
Tildas Town - "Anything Goes"
***

My second Novembercard is an easelcard.
On this I used the new "Nativity Collection 2012", from Magnolia.
Aren't they just Adooorable?!!?
It wasn't easy choosing which one to buy from the collection, as I wanted them all, but somehow I managed to narrow my "needs" down to these six images...
Inside this card I used a BIG textstamp I've had for years. The text is the Christmas Story (Juleevangeliet), but since it is so huge I find it quite difficult to use. This is actually the first time I've found use for it in a card. I think it worked perfect as background for the writingpanel, on a card with this theme.
Images and background are coloured with DistressMarkers and -refills. On the halos and the angelwings I put on some glitterstickles - the tiny tips on these bottles worked perfect on the halos :)
On this card I used dies from Spellbinders (inside) and Magnolia (the tag tucked under the backgroundimage)
.
Here's the card opened:
This card will go for the challenges at:
Hjertebodens Juleblogg - "Hjerteboden"
Dream Valley - Anything Goes
Kort o Mania - Jul (Christmas)
Just keep on creating - Christmas is around the corner
***

My third card is in bluetones, The image  is Jingle Jangle Tilda, from "A christmas story collection 2012). This image is coloured with ProMarkers.
I've used dies from Spellbinders (inside) and Magnolia (the tags on the front). I also used the Lace Heart Edge punch from Martha Stewart.
For decorations I used ribbons, lace, cheesecloth, a white "swirlstringthing" and some white berries. Oh, and two golden bells - I think they fitted the image so well :)

Here's the inside, with a text from North Star Stamps:
I'll send this card to the following challenges:
Hjertebodens Juleblogg - Hjerteboden
Hooked on Crafts - Christmas No Red/ Green
Fashionista Challenge - Blue Christmas
The Crafty Pad - Christmas
Papirdokkene - Jul i november (Christmas in November)

OLL #118 Someone Special

A huge congratulation to the winner and Top 3 of the last challenge over at  Ooh La La Creations. You gave me a really hard time choosing only 3! Can't remember last time ever I've rolled up and down pages and clicked through blogs that much - it took me quite some time, but I managed to pick only 3
And: Today we have a new challenge over at Ooh La La Creations.
The theme for the next fortnight is "Someone Special"
I hope many of you will join us for that challenge.
Yesterday we celebrated Fathers Day in Norway, so for the "Someone Special"-challenge I made a card for my father.
This card has two pockets, one for a greetingtag and one for the Bingocards I gave him.
As many cardmakers I find it rather difficult to make masculine cards, but these papers made it quite easy :)
The papers I've used are from the Everyday Occasions CD.
Other things I used are: ribbon, lace, a charm, halfpearls, Martha Stewart punch (Cherish), a cornerrounderpunch and DistressInk WalnutStain (on ALL paperedges)

Here I've put the Bingocards inside:
I'm sure you have someone special who deserves a card or another creation, come share it with us at
Ooh La La Creations
You have all the time untill sunday 25.11.

See you :)

Christmas Gifttag

Good morning to you all :)
Today I have just a little thing to show you (Though it was quite some work for such a little thing - I like that - lol)
It's a little gifttag for a christmaspresent.
First I accordionfolded a strip of christmaspaper and glued the shortedges togeter to make it round. Then I made a little shakerbox with a christmassentiment inside (Sentiment from Kreativ Hobby).
I put the shakerbox on top of the flattened accordioncircle, with a tag (Magnolia DooHickey) and some snowflakes ( die from Magnolia and punch from Tonic) in between.
Then I used one of the suupercuuute mini Bildmålarna-images, sitting on a christmasticket (also a stamp from Kreativ Hobby). The image is coloured with DistressMarkers and -reinkers.
All paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain, and all snowflakes have been glittered (GlitterStickles StarDust).
On the back I just stamped "Til" and "Fra" (To and From) with a stamp from a Papirdesign Stampset.
Then I tied a little ribbon to the tag - finished :)
(All papers are from the leftoverbox  -it feels so good to use a little of it from time to time...)
Now I'll send my card to these challenges, cross my finger, have a coffee and get ready for work...:
Crafty Boots - Tag or Invitation
Kaboodle Doodles #144 - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Crafty Pad #195 - Anything Goes
Hooked On Crafts #26 - Christmas No Red/ Green!

Christmas decoration

Today I'll show you a little christmasproject I've been working on the last evenings.
It's a little mobile, with four Magnoliafigures.
As I haven't seen this kind of projects anywhere, I think it's a creation of my own mind, and am rather pleased with that - lol (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...)
The images are from different christmascollections, but I think they fit well together though (that's one of the reasons I really like Magnolia-stamps).
I've coloured with DistressMarkers and reinkers.
I've used dies from Marianne Design, Nellie's Multi Frame's and Magnolia.
I also used different punches to make the snowflakes.
You'll also see different ribbons, laces, pearls, halfbeads, bells and cheesecloth.
All clothes have got a little touch of glitter on the "fur"-details.
On the backside of the images (backside of the diecut papers the images are attached to) I stamped little christmasgreetings (from Ladybug and Friends and Kort & Godt)
I found it rather difficult to take pictures of it, as it was slowly spinning around (a mobile is supposed to do that, I know, I know...), the light wasn't any help either. So, I took some pictures with different backgrounds, and these four are the ones that I found best...

I'll send my Christmas-Mobile to the following challenges, hope they'll like it:
MDUC #171 - Christmas Ornament
Magnolia Mania #59 - Motiv 3D
Tilda's Town #25 - Winter Weather
Marvelous Magnolia #1 - Anything Goes
Midweek Magnolias #35 - Anything Goes

Hopefully I haven't broken any challengerules, if I have it is not intentionally.
As always I love your visits on my little space on the web.
Thanks a lot

Christmas in Kraft, Green, Brown and White

This is one of the christmascards and -projects I've been working on the last week.
The sketch for this card is from Sketchy Colers latest challenge.
Seeing the sketch I knew I wanted to use it to make a card with some extra folds, for extra greetings :)
To open the card you have to untie the white ribbon, then it's just to start to open up and read (pictures below). The bottomflap has a magnetclosing too.
I've used papers from Papirdesign and 3ndy Papir. The basecard and greetingpanels are Kraftcardstock.
All edges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
The image is one of the new Magnolias I got for my birthday (I love Hjertebodens wishlist-function :D)
Tripping Tilda here is coloured with Pro- and FlexMarkers.
Behind Tilda I tucked in some cheesecloth.
The doily behind Tilda is made with a Nellie's Multiframes-die.
The Pearlstrings, swirls and poinsettia in the corner are all from Kort & Godt.
On the "bottom"fold I used Martha Stewarts Eyelet Lace punch (from a PATP-set).
The greetingpanels are made with a big scalloped punch fromMarvy Uchida.

The next two pictures show the card opened:

I'll send this card to these challenges:
Sketchy Colors #137 - Sketch

OLL DT C... Christmas

Monday for a new challenge at Ooh La La again .
The theme this time is C... Christmas, a theme I think many of you will like.
A little while ago I got the new CD Yuletide Wishes,
and the image and papers are from the CD - aren't they cuuute???
I think the image and papers are so pretty in itself that I didn't want to hide them under too much decorations (but couldn't help myself from putting on a little glitter on the star... and a few embellishes)
I also used a little starcharm attached to the bow.
The hearts are made with Nellie's Multiframe's (MFD 043).
All paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
Here's a picture showing the insides, with same papers as outside. The greetingpanels are Kraft cardstock, the sentiment is from Kort & Godt.
On the back I used the same backingpaper as on the front. The image is also the same, but a smaller version. the cornerdecorations are made with a Spellbinder-die.
I hope I've inspired many, many of you to join the Christmaschallenge at Ooh La La this time.

I'll send this card to these challenges as well:
The Crafty Pad #194 - Christmas is coming
Just Keep On Creating - Christmas Is Around The Corner

Another christmascard

I've made another christmascard with a Magnoliaimage. I've used Distressmarkers and -reinks to colour Tilda. One of the DPs are from Panduro. I cut it to make the image on the paper continue on the front and backside of the card.
Then I layered up some more DPs (from the scrapbox) - I used the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch on these papers.
On the tag (a Magnolia DooHickey Die) I stamped a christmasgreeting from Kort & Godt.
With the flowers I used a swirl made with a die from Marianne, and some branches made with a Spellbinders-die.
I also tucked a little piece of lace under the paperarrangement and tied a lace to the tag. The tag also has a charm attached.
The inside has the same backingpaper from panduro as I used on the outside. The greetingpanels are made with Spellbinders Labels Fifteen.
The stamped greeting inside the card is from Kreativ Hobby.
Of course I inked the paperedges inside too :)

Here's the list of challenges I'll send this card to:
NSHK #62 - Jul (Christmas)
Just Keep On Creating - Christmas Is Around The Corner
Crafty Ribbons #31 - Christmas
Happy Campers #3 - Shabby Chic
Stampin' For The Weekend #20 - Anything Goes
Magnolia Mania #58 - Drei verschiedene Stanzen

A Purple Christmas Box

Here's a box I found a tutorial for some time ago, but haven't dared to try to make it 'till now.
It wasn't difficult alt all!
Actually I had a real fun time making it.
To decorate it I found some of my oldest Magnolias (from the time they almost didn't have any hair :) ).
I used different Lucia-Magnolias on each side of the box. They're all coloured with ProMarkers.
The images and embellishments are all attached to an oval (die from Nellie's) before they're fastened to the box.
Embellishments are lace, cheesecloth, Liquid Pearls and swirls (Spellbinders die).
On top of the box I placed a greeting (Kort & Godt). The circle that the greeting is stamped on is made with a die-set from Nellie's too. The little stars (or is it flowers?) that I've put pearls in the middle of is a part of that Nelli's-dieset (but sold separately).
I got my set from Maja some time ago.
I've also used DistressInk WalnutStain on all paper- and paneledges.
...and Glimmermist, lots of Glimmermist :)

Here's a few more pictures of the box, from different angles:

This christmasproject will be sent to the following challenges:
Scrap'a'Long #20 - Stempel (Stamp)
NSHK #63 - Jul (Christmas)
Fashionista #8 - Anything Goes
Stamptacular Sunday #186 - No Rules

October Christmas Cards

Here come my Octoberchristmascards for Hjertebodens Juleblogg.
I thought their challenge would  be a really easy one, when I first read it "Tallet 3" (The number 3).
We're to use 3 of something.
I always (well, mostly) use uneven numbers on desorations and embellishments, but never seem to think about it. Now that I were to focus on the number 3, it got rather difficult - LOL
I was so happy when I, on Tuesday, found the magazine Cardmaking & Papercraft, with these lovely Holly Hobbie-images.
This character was one of my favourites when I was a little girl, so of course I had to buy the magazine, and couldn't get home fast enough to get the images inked and coloured.

Well, back to the cards:
On the first card I've used 3 papers (Milton & Co), 3 ribbons and 3 pearls.
The image is coloured with ProMarkers.
The panels are sewn together.
I also used the Martha Stewart Lace Heart Edge Punch.
On the inside I used one of the papers from the front. For two of the corners I cut out and glued down two poinsettias.
The sentiment is from Papirdesign.
The paneledges are inked with DistressInk OldPaper.
This, first card goes for the challenges at:
Hjertebodens Juleblogg - Tallet 3 (3 of something)
Chocolate, Coffee & Cards - Stitching
Totally Papercrafts #139 - Christmas 9 Weeks and Counting

On the second card I've used 3 papers (3ndyPapir, Papirdesign and Magnolia), 3 pearls, 3 ribbons and 3 poinsettias (I think I used 3 stamps on the frontside, as well :D)
The image (looovely Holly Hobbie, again) is coloured with ProMarkers.
All paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
I used Martha Stewarts Doily Lace Edge Punch on two of the panels.
(Have to admit this card might not be 100% finished yet, I still have the bottle of red GlimmerGlam on my desk, wondering to give the poinsettias a coat of it... but my consultant, Hedda, have been too busy to help her mother with the decision...)
Inside I used one of the frontsidepapers, and Kraftcardstock fro the greetingpanels (these panels are also inked with DistressInk WalnutStain).
This greeting are from Kort&Godt.
My second OctoberChristmasCard will be entered into these challenges:
Hjertebodens Juleblogg - Tallet 3 (3 of something)
CSAYL #33 - Traditional Colours
NSHK #63 - Jul (Christmas)
Sparkles Christmas #21 - Traditional

My third octobercard is completely different.
In a blog (unfortunately I can't remember which one) I saw an image masked over a text, and found it so lovely I just had to give it a try. So my third card is more in a vintage-shabby style than the other two.
The text here is from Kort&Godt, the angelimage is from Papirdesign.
I've used 3 different papers (Pion), here are 3 feathers and 3 pearls on the front (and 3 inside).
Paperedges arevery lightly distressed before I inked them with DistressInk (WanutStain).
This card is an easelcard, here it's shown standing up:
I'll send my third OctoberChristmasCard into these challenges:
Hjertebodens Juleblogg - Tallet 3 (3 of something)
Deep Ocean #36 - Anything Goes
The Crafty Pad #192 - Distress It!
Panduro - Julekort (Christmascard)
